MEASLES, MUMPS, AND RUBELLA (MMR)

The MMR is a 3-in-1 vaccine which aims to protect children against the measles, mumps, and rubella viruses.

Let’s go through each virus individually.

MEASLES

The measles is characterized by fever, runny nose, red eyes, cough, and a distinct rash that appears 3-5 days after symptoms begin. According to the CDC, “After a few days, the fever subsides and the rash fades.” (1) Even though measles outbreaks have occurred in 2008, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018, it has been considered eradicated in the United States since 2000. Measles is no longer constantly circulating but still occurs in our society.

In developing countries where malnourishment is high and nutrition is low, measles (or any other viral infection) can be deadly. In the United States, measles is not a threat to healthy individuals. In the last 19 years only 3 people have died from the measles, and all 3 patients were either geriatric, immunocompromised, or had comorbidities. (2)

In fact, contracting measles during childhood can help protect against developing certain cancers later on in life. (See studies below.)

Since the inception of mass measles vaccination programs, we have seen numerous vaccine-strain outbreaks. (3) This is due to the vaccine being a live, attenuated virus. The virus is weakened, not killed, therefore it can still replicate in our bodies causing illness and be transmitted to other individuals. This can potentially infect an entire community.

Not only can the vaccine potentially cause measles in a recently vaccinated child, but the number of adverse events on the manufacturer’s insert is cause for alarm. You can read the full vaccine inserts HERE and HERE

Here are just a few possible vaccine reactions:

  • Panniculitis, atypical measles, fever, fainting, headache, dizziness, malaise, irritability
  • Pancreatitis, diarrhea, vomiting, parotitis, nausea
  • Diabetes
  • Anaphylaxis, bronchial spasm in individuals with or without an allergic history
  • Arthritis, chronic arthritis
  • Encephalitis (swelling of the brain), encephalopathy (brain disease), measles inclusion body encephalitis (MIBE), subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE, which is chronic brain inflammation caused by the measles virus), Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), transverse myelitis, febrile convulsions, afebrile convulsions or seizures, ataxia, polyneuritis, polyneuropathy, ocular palsies (ocular nerve damage), paresthesia.
  • Aseptic meningitis
  • Pneumonia, pneumonitis, sore throat, cough, rhinitis
  • Stevens-Johnson syndrome (look it up), rash, measles-like rash
  • Death

Dr. Suzanne Humphries: The MMR Vaccine Is Causing Measles Outbreaks

https://newspunch.com/mmr-vaccine-measles-outbreaks/

MOMSPEAK:

I have a couple of issues with the MMR. Firstly, the measles (contrary to the mainstream media narrative) is a relatively benign illness in normal, healthy children. Once a child recovers from this virus they have natural, lifetime immunity!

Secondly, the death rate has always been extremely low in measles cases.  Only 1 in 10,000. (1) To put that in perspective, that’s the same death rate as dying from a canoeing accident. Have you heard of one of those recently? Neither have I.

In the last 15 years, there have been 0 pediatric deaths from the

measles. However, there have been over 100 deaths from the MMR vaccine within that same time frame. (2)

Thirdly, the MMR vaccine is a hot mess. It has been credited with reducing measles infections, but handwashing, indoor plumbing, and proper sanitation were responsible for the decrease in measles death rates. This is evidenced by the drastic reduction in measles mortality way before the vaccine was introduced in 1963.

Even the World Health Organization (WHO) understands that one of the most effective treatments for the measles is vitamin A supplementation.

Additionally, a lot of people assume that since the disease was declared “eradicated” back in 2000 the U.S. no longer experiences any measles cases. That is false. Eradicated just means that measles is no longer continuously circulating in our population. Every single year we have numerous measles reports ranging from 30+ cases to 600+ cases. The media reports these cases as “outbreaks”, but it’s just the natural disease cycle.

I know way too many mothers who have lost their children into the world of severe autism immediately following an MMR vaccination. They all say the same thing. They would have gladly taken a short-term, viral illness over a lifetime of severe autism any day of the week.

VACCINE INJURY STORY

MUMPS

Mumps is another viral illness that is generally mild and resolves without treatment in a couple of weeks. It can start off with flu-like symptoms including fever, headache, muscle aches, loss of appetite, and swollen salivary glands. The swollen salivary glands are what cause the puffy cheeks. This swelling has become synonymous with mumps. Though according to the CDC’s website, “Some people who get mumps have very mild or no symptoms, and often they do not know they have the disease. Most people with mumps recover completely in a few weeks.” (1)

The CDC is contradictory with a lot of the information on the mumps aspect of the vaccine. It says the effectiveness of the vaccine ranges from (31-95%) after the two recommended doses and goes on to say that the MMR has reduced mumps cases by 99%. However, the next sentence states, “Mumps outbreaks can still occur in highly vaccinated U.S. communities, particularly in close-contact settings such as schools, colleges, and camps.” (2)

Some of the possible adverse events from the MMR vaccine are:

  • Panniculitis, atypical measles, fever, fainting, headache, dizziness, malaise, irritability
  • Pancreatitis, diarrhea, vomiting, parotitis (inflammation of the salivary glands…kind of like mumps) and nausea
  • Diabetes
  • Anaphylaxis, bronchial spasm in individuals with or without an allergic history
  • Arthritis, chronic arthritis
  • Encephalitis (swelling of the brain), encephalopathy (brain disease), measles inclusion body encephalitis (MIBE), subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE, which is chronic brain inflammation caused by the measles virus), Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), transverse myelitis, febrile convulsions, afebrile convulsions or seizures, ataxia, polyneuritis, polyneuropathy, ocular palsies (ocular nerve damage), paresthesia.
  • Aseptic meningitis
  • Pneumonia, pneumonitis, sore throat, cough, rhinitis
  • Stevens-Johnson syndrome (look it up), rash, measles-like rash
  • Death

The Homeopathic Answer to Mumps

http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/homeopathic-answer-mumps

MOMSPEAK:

Recently, there has been an intense amount of sensationalized “mumps” media coverage. It seems every year there is a new college campus in the United States experiencing an outbreak. Health authorities are quick to blame the outbreaks on anything other than the ineffectiveness of the vaccine. I even read one article which suggested that the MMR was effective, for the most part, against low levels of the virus. However, due to the close living quarters in college, there was simply too much exposure rendering the two doses of MMR useless. This is another great way to say that protection from the MMR (and every other vaccine) dissipates over time. Parents freak out, and before you know it, droves of college kids are lining up to get the MMR vaccine.

The problem is that people aren’t asking the right questions.

Why are “fully vaccinated” kids still contracting this illness?

What is the possible long-term benefit of contracting this illness?

What are the possible side effects of the MMR?

How can we treat this illness naturally should our children contract mumps?

Once you start researching the answers to these questions, you quickly realize that the risks associated with the MMR far outweigh the risks of mumps infection.

VACCINE INJURY STORY

“Ever Since my son Bryce had the MMRV he has had 13 “mumps-like infections” that they call acute recurrent parotitis. He swells up so bad on both sides and it’s so painful, accompanied with really high fevers. He also had allergies, asthma, hand foot and mouth 3 times, ear tubes adenoids removed, strep throat. Just constantly sick. He had so many antibiotics every time that he ended up in hospital with C-diff (stomach infection caused because antibiotics stripped all good bacteria, and he started pooping pure blood). He has not any vaccines since 2014 (when I finally made the connection after seeing VaXxed and started researching.) He no longer has allergies nor asthma and is doing better infection wise.  Docs refuse to admit to me that it has anything to do with the shot (of course). He has had surgery twice to go in and clean out his parotid glands, bilaterally. Dr. said this was not a cure and it may have to be repeated again at some point in the future. He is now 6. This went on since his 12-month shots and we are still dealing with the parotitis. I also changed his whole diet, no dairy, mostly plant-based diet. I basically changed everything we ate. Also started high dose of probiotics, and we use essential oils daily!! Essential oils have been a Godsend for us. I also give him organic lemon juice to make him salivate so the glands don’t get clogged. It helps but he still gets infected sometimes and needs antibiotics.

Btw this is listed as an adverse reaction on the package insert when I looked online at the specific brand of shot that he got. It was a 4-in-one shot. Not just the MMR. Varicella added in also. It was a Merck vaccine called ProQuad.”

RUBELLA

Rubella, or German measles, is yet another generally mild, viral illness. The symptoms of rubella include low-grade fever, eye irritation, cough, runny nose, swollen lymph nodes, and a rash. According to the CDC, “About 25 to 50% of people infected with rubella will not experience any symptoms.” (1) Although rubella is considered mild, the virus can cause severe complications to an unborn child should the mother contract the illness while pregnant. Some of the complications include cataracts, deafness, liver and spleen damage, heart defects, intellectual disability, and/or low birth weight. There is also the possibility of miscarriage with rubella infection during pregnancy. Additionally, up to 70% of women who contract rubella can experience arthritis. (2)

Due to the possibility of rubella-like illness from the live viruses in the MMR vaccine, the CDC advises against getting the MMR during pregnancy. (3)

According to the manufacturer’s insert, “it would be prudent to assume that the vaccine strain of virus is also capable of inducing adverse fetal effects.” (4)

Additionally, nursing mothers should not receive the MMR because rubella can be secreted through breastmilk and transmitted to infants.

Rubella has been eradicated since 2004 and only 10 people in the U.S. contract this illness annually. (5)

Here are some possible adverse events due to the MMR vaccine:

  • Panniculitis, atypical measles, fever, fainting, headache, dizziness, malaise, irritability
  • Pancreatitis, diarrhea, vomiting, parotitis (inflammation of the salivary glands…kind of like mumps), nausea
  • Diabetes
  • Anaphylaxis, bronchial spasm in individuals with or without an allergic history
  • Arthritis, chronic arthritis
  • Encephalitis (swelling of the brain), encephalopathy (brain disease), measles inclusion body encephalitis (MIBE), subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE, which is chronic brain inflammation caused by the measles virus), Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), transverse myelitis, febrile convulsions, afebrile convulsions or seizures, ataxia, polyneuritis, polyneuropathy, ocular palsies (ocular nerve damage), paresthesia.
  • Aseptic meningitis
  • Pneumonia, pneumonitis, sore throat, cough, rhinitis
  • Stevens-Johnson syndrome (look it up), rash, measles-like rash

MOMSPEAK:

Rubella is another mild, childhood disease.

It’s potentially dangerous if a woman contracts it during pregnancy, just as the MMR is dangerous if given during pregnancy.
